It’s not really a shock to find out that Microsoft is interested in Buying Yahoo (YahSoft?). Microsoft has bidded a massive 50 Billion for the internet giant, probably to form an possible acquisition or partnership that could potentially topple Google as the search king. What will this mean for web designers and the internet?
Firstly, Microsoft has never really had the success of Yahoo or Google on the internet and has lost its market share over the years to the cuddly Google, Googles offering is a friendly simple to use face to internet searching that does seem to return more accurate search results and its Gmail to my mind is still the best webmail out there.

How is that even remotely possible? The medium certainly looks alive, well and, if anything, overpopulated. There are hordes of photographers out there, working with back-to-basics pinhole cameras and pixeled images measured in gigabytes, with street photography taken by cell phones and massive photo “shoots” whose crews, complexity and expense resemble those of movie sets.

Ahh, there...I sneaked away for a few minutes to say Merry Christmas! While doing a quick search on Google for a picture of a Christmas Tree, I stumbled upon this one, it's from inhabitat.com.

Review:
This website is simply gorgeous. From the outset it's clear you're looking upon the result of many hours labour by a seriously talented individual/team. Rarely will you see a site encompass as many features as this, and yet still retain its clean, minimalist form. That alone, as you probably well know, is a tremendously difficult goal for a designer to achieve.
If you are searching around for web design coding techniques or want to find a blog on a certain topic Google sometimes seems to miss your search terms completely. Using special characters you can target your terms to return more relevant search results.
Google Basics
If you run a normal search through Google and click “google search” Google will search for every word in your terms: and show pages relevant to your search. If you re-enter some search terms and click “im feeling lucky” Google will pull up the one website that it believes is most relevant to your search terms.
